The Nicolis family
Wine producers for generations
Massimo Nicolis grew up in a family dedicated to wine production, inheriting from his father and mother the passion, skills and secrets to obtain excellent wines of character such as Amarone DOCG, Recioto DOCG, Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso and Valpolicella Classico.
Now, together with his wife and three children, he manages the cellar and the villa of Palazzo Montanari, where for years he has followed the conservative restoration works of the suggestive frescoes from the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries and the structural improvements that have given life to a unique environment where the past and the present coexist in harmony.
The Principle of Tranquility
Our worldliness is genuine
If Massimo and his family could express in one word what they aim to convey to the guests who experience the Palazzo, that word would be: tranquility.
A magic word, today, a rare quality that we have lost the habit of finding even when we move for a trip, an event or a cheerful evening in company.
Simplicity, authenticity, slow rhythms, the taste of the moment to be experienced here and now, the sounds of nature and the scents of the territory, in a location in the heart of Valpolicella Classica where finally the eyes can roam freely and the soul can relax and find peace.
